Parts of Speech - Pronouns

The word for which the pronounA pronoun is a word that replaces a noun or a group of words used as a noun.

Example:
The boy threw the footballHe threw it over the fence.

A pronoun can be an antecedent for another pronoun.  The antecedent always comes before the pronoun for which it is the antecedent.
